Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

CPD is one of the core professional development activities of Directorate of Professional Development (DPD), which is aimed at the capacity development of primary school teachers.
CPD is responsive to the Assessment Results of Grade-2 and Grade-5 students as well as Teachers’ Competency Survey (TCS) and Teachers Content Knowledge Test (TCK), conducted by DCTE Abbottabad.
Session plans are developed (in the subjects of Math, Urdu, English and General Science )on the gray areas of the results of students assessment, Teachers’ Competency Survey (TCS) and Teachers’ Content Knowledge (TCK) Test. Out of 8 Professional Development Days 8 PD Days in summer zone and 8 PD Days in Winter zone have been conducted. CPD activities for the Academic Session 2025-26 have started.
