Merged Areas Education Foundation (MAEF) is an autonomous organization, created under the act of parliament, to deal with the dismal state of education in the Merged Districts/Areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Mandate
- Promoting literacy in Merged Districts, with special focus on female education
- Foundation is running non-formal/community schools
